How we work

The workshop was built around careful assessment, realistic planning, and thoughtful reuse. That approach helps each project stay grounded in the garment itself, not in promises that the fabric cannot support.

A clear review first

Before we quote, we assess the garment construction, fabric condition, seam allowances, and the fit or redesign request. That gives us a reliable basis for planning the work.

Design shaped by the garment

For redesign projects, we look for the strongest usable parts of the original piece and discuss whether the concept can be supported by the available material. If extra materials are needed, they are quoted separately.

Finish and collection check

At collection, we complete a fit or finish review so the garment can be checked before it leaves the workshop. If additional work is needed, it is only done after approval.
